A note from the founder
I didn't start YLO (say: ee-lo) because I love hair products. I started it because of a hair tie.
Somewhere in my early thirties, my ponytail started feeling smaller in my hand. Two loops became three. I tried the tricks — eyeshadow on the part line, the strategic side-part, standing on the good-light side in photos.
But patience doesn't help you at 6 p.m. before a dinner. So we built the thing I couldn't find: fibers matched like foundation, tested in real light, honest about what they do — cover, blend, wash out — and what they don't.
